Making Dango is pretty simple. That is also why our quest for delicious Dango will never end.

In line with our pursuit of a taste that satisfies our customers, by adding one or two extra steps in our dumpling manufacturing process, we create dumplings that are still traditional but are better suited for the modern palate. We are confident in our ability to provide a taste that can only be created by us, even if it is made by machine.

At Morinaga, we use our original blend of two different types of domestically produced joshinko rice flour. We manufacture and provide products with stability to ensure that they will not be affected by the quality of rice produced in that year.

The ease at which our dango can be chewed despite being machine-made is made possible due to the experience of our skilled workers, who tailor the quantity of ingredients based on the temperature, humidity and season in order to create a taste and texture that only we can produce.

Our manufactured products are stored in a freezer at minus 26 degrees Celsius, and completely frozen to the core. Our thorough management system ensures that we can safely and stably supply products every day while maintaining the freshly made flavour and texture.

We have a variety of promotional materials to aid in selling as many dango as possible, including rental of special equipment for grilling dango (can be used both outdoors and indoors in shopping malls). We used a different mixture of rice flour from our large dango, with carefully selected joshinko rice flour which is ideal for eating at room temperature. We pursued the ideal crispness and smoothness in texture when eating to the utmost limit.

Our melt-in-your-mouth baked sweets are made with dough using eggs and milk. We have prepared various flavors of bean paste such as milk, yuzu, mandarin oranges and plums for you to enjoy the various flavors of the four seasons.

This unique manju that is made by wrapping Hokkaido red bean paste with dough mixed with plenty of Okinawan brown sugar. By frying it, the surface becomes harder, creating a taste and texture similar to karinto. The manju are fried in rice oil, which results in the crispy and crunchy texture without any greasiness. Simply an exquisite dessert that is bound to get you hooked.

Our specialty daifuku. The distinctly chewy and moist dough is made using high-quality glutinous rice flour. In addition to red bean paste, we also develop various flavors of bean paste according to our customers’ requests.

We invent original products (OEM/PB) together with our customers. You can customize details such as the size, shape, sweetness and texture to your liking.
